Hours 5-8: Porthos

I had one goal for today (though, many things that needed to be done outside of that goal): 4 hours (yesterday and today's double time).
The markers actually mark off days worth of progress(Tuesday and today, respectively).

Hour 1 and 2: Porthos

I want to make my husband at least 12 pairs of Socks this year to give him for Christmas. I am planning to knit for 1 hr each day on this project. I think that it will be fun to see how long it takes to make each sock and how many socks can be made in that many hours.

I have missed January, so there will have to be some double time later on to make up for that miss. The year had a rocky start (flu for all) and I finally feel like I can start addressing some of my goals(resolutions) for 2014. This first entry represents about an hour last night and and hour today.

The first pair that I have settled on is adapted from the pattern Porthos by Caoua Coffee. I am working toe-up, having cast on with Judy's Magic CO and increased to 64sts. I am planning on doing the Fish Lips Kiss Heel when I get there. Needles are Addi Sock Rockets US0/2mm and the yarn is Cascade Heritage Color 5619.
